Discover legal rack words and rank them by tile score.
Stuck with a rack of awkward letters? Type your tiles into the Scrabble Word Finder Cheat above. It lists every English word you can make, ranked by tile score, so you can quickly spot the play worth the most points.
What Is the Scrabble Word Finder Cheat?
The Scrabble Word Finder Cheat is a free word solver from English Finders. You enter the letters on your rack, plus any board letters you want to build through, and it finds every word of two letters or more that those tiles can spell.
Each result shows the word, its length, its tile score, and a short definition, so you know what a word means before you play it. Tap any word to open its full entry in our English dictionary.
How to Use the Scrabble Word Finder
- Type your letters into the Rack and board letters box. You can enter up to 15 letters.
- Choose how many blank tiles you have: 0, 1, or 2.
- Pick a sort order: Highest score, Longest, or Alphabetical.
- Press Find Scrabble words and browse the results, 30 words per page.
- Check that your chosen word fits on the board, then add any premium-square bonuses yourself.
Scrabble Tile Values
The finder scores each word with the standard English Scrabble tile values below. A blank tile is worth 0 points, just like in the real game.
| Points | Letters |
|---|---|
| 1 | A, E, I, L, N, O, R, S, T, U |
| 2 | D, G |
| 3 | B, C, M, P |
| 4 | F, H, V, W, Y |
| 5 | K |
| 8 | J, X |
| 10 | Q, Z |
The score shown is the base value of the tiles only. It does not include double- or triple-letter squares, double- or triple-word squares, or the 50-point bonus for using all seven tiles in one turn.
Tips for Finding High-Scoring Scrabble Words
- Place your high-value letters (J, Q, X, and Z) on premium squares whenever you can.
- Learn short words with Q and Z, such as qi, za, and zax. They are valid in the official word lists and easy to fit on a crowded board.
- Use the Longest sort to hunt for a seven-letter word. Using all seven tiles earns a 50-point bonus.
- Add a letter that is already on the board to find longer words that build through it.
- After each play, try to keep a balanced mix of vowels and consonants on your rack.
Is Using a Scrabble Word Finder Cheating?
It depends on when you use it. Looking up words during a real match breaks the rules, unless every player agrees to it. Between games, though, a word finder is a great study tool that shows you the words you missed.
Many English learners use it this way. They enter a random rack, study the words it finds, and look up any meanings they do not know. If you want letter puzzles without the scoring, try the Word Unscramble Cheat.
Which Words Does the Finder Use?
The finder searches the English Finders dictionary, a general English word list. Official competition lists are different. North American clubs use the NASPA Word List, while the UK and most other countries use Collins Scrabble Words.
So if you play in a club or tournament, check a word against your official list before you rely on it.
Who Can Use the Scrabble Word Finder?
It is made for casual Scrabble players, crossword and puzzle fans, and English learners who want to grow their vocabulary. Teachers can also use it in class to show how many words hide in a small set of letters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Scrabble Word Finder Cheat free?
Yes. You can use it as often as you like, and you do not need to create an account.
How many letters can I enter?
You can enter up to 15 letters. Type your seven rack tiles plus any board letters you want to play through.
How do blank tiles work in the word finder?
Choose 1 or 2 blanks, and the finder treats each one as a wildcard that can stand for any letter. As in real Scrabble, a blank tile scores 0 points.
Does the score include bonus squares?
No. The score is the base value of the tiles only. Add double- and triple-letter or word squares, and the 50-point bonus for using all seven tiles, yourself.
Are all the words valid in official Scrabble?
Not always. The finder uses a general English dictionary rather than an official Scrabble list. Check a word in the NASPA Word List or Collins Scrabble Words before you play it in a club or tournament.
