    Answer: To do something cheaply or carelessly to save time or money.
  2. 2) Rewrite with a phrasal verb: “He can no longer tolerate the delays.”
    Answer: “He can’t put up with the delays anymore.”
  3. 3) What does “no cap” mean in casual slang?
    Answer: “No lie” / “I’m serious” — used to emphasise that a statement is true.
  4. 4) What does “the tip of the iceberg” mean?
    Answer: A small visible sign of a much larger, mostly hidden problem.
  5. 5) Why is heavy slang risky in a professional email?
    Answer: It can sound unprofessional, dated, or unclear to readers unfamiliar with it — formal writing calls for a more neutral register.
