Can-Do Task: Compare Two Things

Pick two cities, two jobs, or two products you know well.

Your Task

Write a short paragraph (4–6 sentences) comparing them. Use at least one comparative (bigger, more expensive), one superlative (the best, the most popular), and one as…as sentence.

Model Answer

“I want to compare my hometown and the capital city. The capital is much bigger than my hometown, and it’s definitely more expensive to live there. However, my hometown isn’t as busy as the capital, which I actually prefer. For me, my hometown is the most peaceful place I know.”
