    Answer: Claim, evidence, and warrant.
  2. 2) Give a rebuttal phrase that acknowledges a point before disagreeing.
    Answer: Example: “That’s a fair point, but…” or “I see where you’re coming from, however…”
  3. 3) Give a polite way to interrupt someone in a meeting.
    Answer: Example: “Sorry to jump in, but could I add something?”
  4. 4) Why is concede-then-counter useful in live debate, not just writing?
    Answer: It keeps the exchange respectful and considered even under time pressure, making the rebuttal more persuasive.
