Welcome to Your Course
Welcome! In this course you’ll go from knowing almost no English to being able to introduce yourself, talk about your day, order food, ask for directions, and write a simple message — all in English. That’s the real, official CEFR A1 level, and everything in this course is built to get you there.
How the course works
- The course has 12 modules. Each one takes a real everyday situation (meeting someone, going shopping, asking for directions) and gives you the words and grammar you need for it.
- Every module ends with a short quiz and a worksheet you can print or complete online — do whichever you prefer, or both.
- You’ll earn XP and badges as you complete lessons and pass quizzes, and you can track your streak on your profile.
- Some lessons link to a game or practice tool — use them, they use the exact same words you just learned.
- There’s no need to rush. Go back and repeat any lesson as many times as you like.
Quick check
- True or False: You must finish the whole course in order, with no repeating lessons. (Answer: False — you can repeat any lesson anytime.)
- Where can you see your XP and streak? (Answer: On your profile/dashboard.)
- What are the two ways to complete a worksheet? (Answer: Print it, or complete it online.)
