Can-Do Task

This task checks what you can actually DO with the language from Module 8 — not just what you know about it.

Part 1: Describe a Photo

Think of a real photo you have (or imagine a scene — e.g. people at a park, a family dinner). Write 4–5 sentences describing it. Use present continuous for actions and include at least 2 clothing/color words.

Example: In this photo, my sister is wearing a yellow dress. She is smiling and standing next to our dog. My brother is playing with a ball. It’s a sunny day at the park.

Part 2: Compare Habits and Now

Write one sentence with present simple (a habit) and one with present continuous (happening now) about the same person.

Example: My brother usually plays football on weekends. Right now, he is playing video games.

Part 3: Quick Description

Describe what you are wearing right now, in 2 sentences.

Example: I’m wearing a blue T-shirt and black jeans. My shoes are white.
